I have worked with F.D. Ouellette & Sons on several projects since 2005, both in community housing and private residential work. I served as the architect, and FDO was the owner’s general contractor. In every project we collaborated on, FDO was able to successfully complete the project to my satisfaction, and the satisfaction of the owners we worked for. FDO brings a high level of professionalism and skill to every project. They pay attention to details, and make an effort to be transparent with costs. They are respectful of the architect’s role, and know how to work together for the benefit of an owner. They have the versatility to handle the complexities of public works projects, as well as the needs of homeowners simply looking to remodel a few rooms. When you are preparing for major home renovations, in my case bathrooms remodeled, all new windows including replacement of the wood surrounding the windows, and painting the house the level of appreciation is very high. As I prepared for the remodel (two houses) I selected Ouellette, in part because of the great work they previously did during one of my recent jobs. The level of professional craftsmanship, cleanliness, minimum disruption and full disclosure and explanation prior during and at then is un matched. We had an extensive 15,000 square foot total remodel, Title 24 code rebuild. F.D. Ouellette put in a timely bid for the job, and their pricing was the best of 4 others. As the Head Contractors, they and their crew worked very diligently and professionally. There were plenty of difficult challenges, but the job was finished on time despite some unforeseen delays. We are extremely happy with their performance, and strongly recommend them for any job, big or small.
